Finally managed to get some work done yesterday. Compiled the fyp findings.

Just watched this showed called Love Guaranteed. It's a HK drama that takes place in an insurance settings. Really like the show as it is really rewarding to watch the struggles of the insurance agent as i can relate to it a little. The story is really touching as well. Especially when the father contracted Cancer and refused to go for treatment and then left his house. The frantic search for him by the kids etc... Pretty touched.

Noticed that my parents are getting old le. Must learn to treasure them more.


Also really disappointed that i have to cancel the meeting with my friend today becos of an oversight on my part. To think that i was the one who suggested meeting.. =( Dint realised that it's jiemin's bday today.. Promised her long ago that i will be there. Sigh.. Must really write all the important dates on my thesis if not keep repeating this mistake.

msn has been getting very cranky nowadays... Getting on my nerves sia..

Hopefully there will be good response for handball tmr. Been facing all sorta funny issues recently. seriously think that A blk eventually will the powerhouse for handball in Kr. There is a serious lack of jioing (or so i think) from the other blks... For tat i am pretty disappointed but i guess it will improve after the trials(i hope)


Been having trouble getting help for my fyp. think that this is a bad time. everybody is busy and all.. =s

Nostalgic

Sigh... uploaded some old photos from my brother camera into my computer just now. Feeling really nostalgic right now. Missed the old days where i went HK with the handballers. Really had a lot of fun doing nonsense and enjoying playing against good opponents.

It's always fun playing with pple that share the same passion as u. Although we dint really know each other b4 the trip, during the trip all of us became good frens and did a lot of havoc stuff together.!

Dun really think that i will have the chance to go again this year. Cos graduate le.. Should be going for my grad trip instead.

The past few weeks has really been a very busy one for me. IBG, school work and Design project. Super tiring sia. Sorta relief that i have more free time for myself now.

Going to start on my FYP already. Haven been touching it. Feel kinda paiseh as my partner in fyp has been getting some work done. Hopefully the SBS transit will reply me soon with e relavent information.

Last lap... Gg to have presentation later.. Frantic reading now to ensure that i do not pull my groupmates down... 5 min for one person during presentation is really quite little man.. Hopefully we can impress the lecturer enough to get our A =)


BBall later tonight... Last IBG sports in my NUS life le.. Really need to psych myself up for it.!

At the same time, sometimes being busy is pretty good. keeps the mind occupied... Gonna start getting my appts in soon i guess.! been meaning to do it for a long long time!

Handball yesterday was really quite fun. Although i felt that overall it's very rough but well tat happens all the time when you have pple who have no experience in playing the game.

REally glad to c Martin back in action! hahaz.. i got a very good feeling about this coming IHG! my last IHG!
Also the look of joy and excitement when a freshie scored a goal is really priceless man! Their energy and aggressiveness is what some of the snrs are lacking.. think it's very refreshing and motivating for me.=)

but the sucky part of the playing hte match is after the match, i have to go back do project! Everyday project till a bit sian man. BUt really glad that the Prof appreciates our efforts and it's very obvious that we were the most detailed group among the others with less smoking involved.=)

I mean when ur prof ask you to allocated some time for other modules also and that we need to have a balanced life etc, it say a lot on how much we been working on right? hahaz

Blk initiation just ended. Missed most of it. But was really glad that i was able to c them undergo the pledge. I guess every year there will be a dif exp for all these blk events. But somehow this yr seems really meaningful as this marks a new era in which the young freshies will carry on the E blk culture, build strong bonds as well taking up responsibilities in time to come.

Still remember coming in Kr as a freshie. knowing nobody else but xiaoyun. then slowly getting to know the bunch of brothers and sisters such as huan, yaozong, ron, teckie, honjie. the 2nd floor gang where we form 2 gang when watching soccer. The man utd fans vs the liverpool fans. The flying ants attack during one of the rainy days where all of us have to put towels on our doors to prevents the insects from entering our rms. Waking up at 6 everyday for training. playing our hearts out for IBG.. the latenite jog with some of the golden gers.



Knowing good frens from hall production where i was roped in as marketing manager. Being lost and all. going to find all the way to little india to meet sponsor with elaine with Eugene leading us. 501 dollars and yet we must do so so much.. miss complaining about all those together. Really miss the comm of my first yr hall production team. The most happening comm there ever will be sia! Driving lorry with Eugene with 2 punctured tyre while looking for place to change the tyres. "spoiling"the door of the UCC while trying to find a shortcut to move about in the UCC. helping with the promotion booth. Singing the hall production song. ( with one sounding like a communist song). cleaning up the mess for elaine after the animals that she was entrusted to passed away. the white mice etc.



The handball gang(huan, hon etc) which allows me the chance to try out handball as a new sports. jioing me and the freshies of my batch down to practice shooting etc. really hope to carry this tradition and train up the freshies to be future legends..









All these and so many experiences n memories that can only be formed during our stay in KR. I still honestly think that my yr1 exp in Hall is probably one of the best that i ever had! kudos to all my snrs and fellow freshies(now final yrs) that make it such a fun place!

Dint managed to go to the bird park after all... kinda disappointed but was told that there is nothing interesting there at all. haha..



Presentation went by quite smoothly i feel . Think that the prof tot that we did okay... After resting for today, tmr shall be another round of preparation! Shall make sure i contribute more this time. Mass balance! my forte!(yar right)



Went out with Elaine and some of her Exchange friends today. Suddenly feel that i do not know Singapore at all. At a lost on where to bring the exchange students to. When Yaozong's fren from Sweden came, we just fed him with lotsa local delicacies and fruits. dun remember bringing him to much places( think yz handled all that). Anyway i finally found a place that have chicken rice balls though i dint get a chance to eat it. shall make a point to try it out when i go back office in the near future. Haven gotten the chance to go back recently due to design project. really need to update my software as well as prepare some policies man...

I just cant wait to go birdpark for the first time tmr.! Kinda looking forward to it since last week. =)

dint update my blog for some time.. Life is as usual. Internship is still boring to me but i am glad that i took up the internship to some extent. It made me able to think clearly as to what do i wan in life. For that i am grateful.
Today, Stein came back .Apparently he's back in Singapore for a while so decided to come and talk to his colleagues. Heard him sharing with them some of his exp in his new job in the middle east(cant pronounce the name). Apparently it's pretty welfare. Imagine this.. If he were to come back to Stolt Nielsen Transport Group, he would have to take a pay cut, forgo his car, free accomodation, insurance policies, Free education for his kids. Also he will no longer have as much benefits in terms of travelling expenses. He travels biz class anywhere and on top of that he was given credit card with credit of US$50k.! Pretty happy for him. I guess the only downside of the job is that you have to uproot yourself and live in a new country and environment. But however if you are working in the Shipping industry, you travel around all the time and hardly at home. So i guess that isnt an issue for him.

Gonna end my internship on friday. Will i miss it? Of cos not! But i just kinda sad that i wasnt able to achieve more with my time over there in terms of mixing around with the pple there. But i am glad i made frens such as Shawn my fellow intern who is a joker. Going to have more time to hang out in the afternoon. But still have fwoc. There are some things that i really want to do and i will surely implement it after i end this internship. For now.. It's Hello Stolt Nielsen!

Just did a quick calculation on NUS CAP calculator to determine how i should fare in order to pull to my desired grade. Realised that I must really do the impossible.. Nevertherless i shall make sure i dun leave NUS regretting not fighting during my last year of studies!!

Went out with PRU frens to celebrate Shan shan's bday. First time that i tried eating in Waraku. think the food is quite yummy. however some of my frens say okay only.. The thing is that i am not used to eating a NON buffet jap food sia.. SOOO wanted to order california roll and soft shell crap and unagi. =P


Pumproom was superb too! totally enjoyed the beer and the red wine.. the band was also quite good and the finger food were quite good too. Overall it was superb.

First time i c so much hope in KR handball!!! =) pple are improving!! Some of the players are really improving alot.. really glad...

think i am lagging behind in terms of progress man.. cant qie, cant shoot, can defense properly yet.... very excited about the prospect of playing next yr! Next yr will be a challenging IHG sia!! =)

I seriously think there is a prob with Taxi allocation recently.. FOr some weird reason it's been so hard to get a cab recently!
Went to chan shan shan shan shan chan's convo today. Was told to be there at 113o.. was late so i decided to take a cab there... Waited like 20 mins for the cab. Reached there to realised that i am the first one there.. lol....
Therefore CHAN SHAN SHAN!! dun say i pangseh u lor.. Earliest one there!! super give u face liao lor!
Saw Elaine, jinxian, jinrui as well as a whole bunch from C blk over there. Small world.! Fanny graduating today, yi jia and Bao zhu too! Jeff too! NUS got one less capable person le.. CHERYL too... saw her there...

When the rest finally arrive at about 12 plus we took photso b4 gg off to crystal jade for lunch. Nothing special but just that singapore service is really bad....
Went Settlers cafe after that.. It's a cool place man!! played some funny card game that was really engaging! Time zoom by damn fast lar.. 3 hrs gone in a flash!

Went back office settle some policy stuff. Gg to have to go down tmr as well to tie down the deal.





Kinda have a mini reflection time during my trip back home..

I think that i have become more and more short tempered since last month. Told Shan about it and she totally agree with me..sigh.. She ask me whether there is something bothering me. I honestly cant put my finger to it... I mean there are issues that i do think about but.. hmm.. I duno man. Gotta have to control my temper man...


SPENT a lot recently.. Shall have to cut down le. SO many things that i need to do that requires that money. IPO, Driving, insurance, grad trip etc... Feel so motivated to pia and reach my target!
